I have had the pleasure of working in four wonderful classrooms thus far, in both the Simcoe County District School Board and Toronto District School Board. My practicum and volunteer experience extends from Kindergarten to the intermediate divisions. Each opportunity has been unique and has provided me with invaluable knowledge that I will bring to my own classroom.

Outside the classroom

Manager of Customer Service, TD Bank

I have been with the bank for over 7 years and currently lead, coach and develop a team to deliver the best-in-class customer experience through clear communication and proactive conflict resolution. I have proven to be successful at developing deep relationships - both internally and externally - in an effort to increase shareholder value. I have also participated in Junior Achievement which involved teaching financial literacy and promoting money management skills.

Family Math Night, SCDSB

I am currently involved in an after school program to support students and their families with mathematics. Our goal is to make learning fun through hands on activities that encourage problem solving skills.

Business In The Streets (BITS), George Brown College

BITS is a youth-driven organization that helps low-resource emerging entrepreneurs focusing on youth and under-served populations by providing business training, micro-financing and ongoing business supports. I was one of 10 students to initially develop the program and find ways to teach business to kids with little educational background due to their individual circumstances.
